Ever been star-struck? You were so moved & inspired by your favorite singers, movie personality or athlete. you so admired & magnified their skill, talent.

Do we give tribute to the Lord? Do we magnify Him & Admire His Traits, Talents, Skill & Worth? Surely, He is worthy to be appreciated & admired. 

Yes, He is worthy to be worshipped & Glorified. 

We can Honor Him with our lips & our Lives. 

In this sermon, we will share selected Scriptures to show that our prayers should aim toward God's Glory!

Yes, one way to ensure our prayers (& our hearts) are properly aligned & conditioned is to seek the Glory of God. (Matt 6:9,10,13). 

This is a key aim to increase the effectiveness of your prayer ministry. It does not take much forethought to realize that if the aim of our prayers includes the Glory of God - that He would readily put us in agreement with Himself. (alignment is good, it helps with aim)

That's what prayer is, by the way.  getting our hearts aligned with the Lord (Thy Will be done on earth, as it is in Heaven). Youve heard that before, right?

Here's to prayers that are aligned with Heaven & impactful on earth!

Growth is a sure sign of life! 

That's true with physical life as well as spiritual life.

Are you continuing to grow in your faith?

Do you know how to grow & what to expect?

It certainly should be a key aim of our prayer lives!

There are opportunities for growth, waiting to be applied.

Faith is needful for growth. It should be stretched.

There are obstacles, to be denied. 

One obstacle is doubt (even delayed, or hesitant trust)

In times Like these...we need an Anchor!

 anchor your Life in 

Salvation: receiving God’s Forgiveness & welcoming God’s Presence are blessings of God’s Gift of Salvation! 

We need a Savior! The Ultimate Answer to frazzled lives. Then, prayer is a God Designed Path to Condition your heart. 

Grant Him full access to your heart for conditioning, rather than constantly expecting God ‘s repositioning!

This section of the New Testament involves Principles & practices for Worship. More specifically – the appeal for prayer. We are instructed to pray for Government, Citizens & now about people personally receiving God’s Gift of Salvation. 

Insight- Prayer is not intended only to correct the object of our prayer (in this instance Government & Citizens). Prayer is also intended to condition the one that is praying. 

Yes, prayer is a vital link in God conditioning your heart! More so than God repositioning Himself in response to prayers. Prayer helps us to adjust, not to get God to adjust. 

Let’s not assume that prayer is – what can God do for me or around me; but we should focus more on what can God do within me. Hmm, a better you, imagine that. A you that is more Godlike (godly v2). Nothing can make you more like God, than God Himself living in your heart (salvation) & conditioning your heart (prayer)

Prayer is intended to condition your heart, so that there is less static, frizzies, frustrations. So, instead of expecting all the change to happen around you, perhaps God’s Changes within is the missing ingredient.  

Don’t assume Prayer does not work, because everything around does not change, but allow things within you to change, as God leads. So, how is your heart condition? Try prayer, with rinse & repeat applications.
