We have been tracing the Theme (on Sunday Mornings) of being like God (godliness, holiness, righteousness). Thankfully, He provides these vital resources to every searching & receptive heart. 

It is interesting that satan, while deceiving Eve, mentioned being like God (Genesis). Of course, satan was in error! Many errors have since been put forth. 

Its impossible to be like God, without God. We need His Nature within us! This is available upon salvation, the new birth, being born from above. Which ever term, this involves "Christ in your heart"- allowing the Spirit of Christ growing access & fullness.  

The Gospel includes God became a Man (in the Person of Christ) in order to reach us, save & redeem us. 

We do well to partner with the Lord in seeking character traits He designs for us & avoiding those that is offensive to Him. This yields greater liberty in our lives- toward Spirit fullness  & holiness.

Call on the Name of  the Lord to be saved (Rom 10:13)

Be Holy for i am Holy, says the Lord (1 Peter 1:15)

A WORD FROM PASTOR TIM

Well, as you know, Times are often marked with uncertainty & change. All of Life is marked with seasons of change & growth. 

Yet, some things never change- such as the Message God relayed to us in His Word, by His Son, thru His Spirit! Yes, everybody ought to know Who Jesus is!

Methods may change & adjust. Yet, we still need the Gospel Truth, prayer & fellowship in His Name. 

The Community still needs the Witness of Christ Followers & sincere Worshippers! 

God Loves you! That never changes! He also seeks to give guidance to our lives, so that we think & act more like Him. This, of course involves our changing & growing. 

The greatest need among us is for more godliness & less sinfulness. Sin  is the curse; God is our cure! 

We often detect this need thru the struggles we face & pressures we endure. 

God is faithful thru all of our ups  & downs; He is an Anchor for the soul!

Something about  living by Faith in Community with other believers, teaches how gracious the Lord is to us! Others can lend prayer support to you & in turn you encourage others. 

May we trust in the Lord with all of our hearts. We should acknowledge Him, in all our ways & not merely lean upon our own understanding. Lord, we want You to direct our paths (see Proverbs 3:5-6)

   By all means, let someone know you are sick (or have any concern or need). We will want to pray for you & be ready to help you.

We can do all things thru Christ – Who Strengthens us (Php 4:13)

Let’s resolve to be all He calls us & equips us to be.
